MAY 14th SAT. NIGHT!!!

SEZU (This is Spinal Tap Pacific Gas & Electric the Beau Brummels the Waybacks the Cowlicks) + LSD VISUALS and POTLUCK

Delivering a unique sound with precision & feel, SEZU is a core trio of guitar, keyboards & bass with vocals, with/without drums. All originals, loviingly-crafted & passionately played. Eclectic mix of styles, back-beat driven grooves, sweet melodies & sweeter harmonies.

DAVID KAFFINETTI– Born in England in Folkstone Kent; keyboardist for English rock band Rare Bird, which released 5 albums, (three on Polydor Records; two as first act signed for Charisma, which included the international hit “Sympathy” Genesis’ label). David came to the US with English rock group Natural Gas in 1975, decided to stay and played in L.A. funk rock band Fresh (featured in the movie Almost Summer). Played Viv Savage in mockumentary This is Spinal Tap. He got the gig by charming Rob Reiner – he promised authenticity. Played keys on Chuck Berry’s London Sessions album which was sent to outerspace on board the 1973 Voyager. Moved to the SF Bay Area in the mid-80’s with multiple gigs and sessions all around. He has been in the Bay Area for many years, playing with a variety of musicians and bands.

RANDY (RJ) HUTCHINSON - Hayward, CA, singer/songwriter, acoustic & electric guitar. Creative performing force of SEZU, a prolific songwriter, w/ a unique voice, melodic style &strong rhythmic sense.

KATHY RAY - Born in San Francisco, residing in the East Bay, Kathy has been playing bass for many years, has a unique style she calls groove with verve. Vocal harmonies are a passion.
PETER TUCKER – Born in Boston, MA and described as “one of the most creative percussionists to emerge in rock music,” by Rolling Stone magazine. Pro career started in 60s with the Monks (featuring Brad Delp, later the lead singer for Boston), Guns and Butter (two record deals with Atlantic Records), NY studio work, including work with Richie Havens. West Coast bands included Pacific Gas & Electric, the Beau Brummels, the Waybacks, the Cowlicks. Best known currently as drummer/percussionist for high-octane Americana band Houston Jones. In addition to session work, Peter plays folk, jazz, country and rock in a variety of other music projects, including the Randy Craig Trio and the Sons of Emperor Norton.

Old hippies don't die, they just lie low until the laughter stops and their time comes round again.
Joseph Gallivan

"I believe true happiness is derived from helping others and spreading love. Sharing Unconditional Love is the best high you can experience. Pure Engery flows though you unhindered by doubt, fear or expectation. It is magical beyond belief. Try it sometime!"
Skip Stone

Hippy is an establishment label for a profound, invisible, underground, evolutionary process. For every visible hippy, barefoot, beflowered, beaded, there are a thousand invisible members of the turned-on underground. Persons whose lives are tuned in to their inner vision, who are dropping out of the TV comedy of American Life.
-Timothy Leary

My advice to people today is as follows: If you take the game of life seriously, if you take your nervous system seriously, if you take your sense organs seriously, if you take the energy process seriously, you must turn on, tune in, and drop out.
-Timothy Leary

I get by with a little help from my friends, get high with a little help from my friends.
-The Beatles

Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.

-Joseph Campbell

Make Love, Not War

I do my thing, and you do your thing. I am not tin this world to live up to your expectations, and you are not in this world to live up to mine. You are you, and I am I, and if by chance we find each other, it's beautiful.
-Frederick E. Perl

Do you want me to tell you something really subversive? Love is everything it's cracked up to be. That's why people are so cynical about it...It really is worth fighting for, being brave for, risking everything for. And the trouble is, if you don't risk anything, you risk even more.
-Erica Jong

"With our love we could save the world"
George Harrison

Made up my mind to make a new start. Going to California with an aching in my heart. Someone told me there's a girl out there with love in her eyes and flowers in her hair.
-Led Zeppelin

Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free.
