Re: “Post-Election Poll Looks at Why Aimee Allison Lost, Kernighan Won

Yes. She conceded and then she quickly removed the concession statement. That is typical Aimee Allison; she keeps disagreeing with herself. She said in the major newspapers that it was horrible that Oakland did not have more police, but on her web site she said that having more police is not important. One reason she lost the election is that almost none of her supporters live in District 2. Despite campaigning for two years, having lots of money and hundreds of volunteers from outside District 2 she lost by a bigger margin than the previous election. I predict that Aimee Allison will soon move somewhere else that is more left-wing so that she can win an election, such as some parts of Berkeley and San Francisco, or perhaps Oakland's District 3 which would serve Nancy Nadel right for endorsing Allison.

Re: “Election 2006: Green Party Candidate Selling Her-Gasp-SUV!

Let us all get honest. She has been trying to sell it for 8 months without success she says. If she would lower the price it would sell immediately. This is proof that she is a total sham. Anyone who believes her is a total moron.

Re: “Wealthy Lefties Open Wallets for Green Party candidate Aimee Allison

Aimee Allison has contradicted herself many times on the question of hiring more police. In the major newspapers she has said it is horrible that Oakland does not have more police, but on her website she says that hiring more police won't help fight crime. Her campaign is coming from outside of District 2. For example, Jonah Zern, an anarchist registered with the Peace and Freedom Party, has been exhorting readers in newspapers and the internet to join him in District 2 working for Aimee Allison. Also, he said Allison's campaign, "is not about Aimee Allison, it is about our movement." I took a list of the most vociferous Allison supporters to the voter registrars office and found that none are voters in District 2, including Jonah Zern who lives in District 1. Now her friends, who don't even live in Oakland, are spending tens of thousands of dollars on disreputable last minute hit pieces that Allison disavows. However, these are close wealthy friends of hers. The friends Allison keeps tells us things about who she is. Her campaign workers were forcing her signs on store employees and putting the signs up in illegal places. Her endorsers are the most extreme left politicians in the Bay Area. Here is a comparison in time lived in District 2: me, 20 years; Pat Kernighan, 23 years; Aimee Allison, 3 years. Allison didn't pay her city taxes, and claims ignorance while her biography says that she is a Small Business Consultant. Her campaign is full of such contradictions. She makes lots of promises, but she has no record of accomplishment. These are some of the reasons why Allison is not fit to be elected.
