Re: “Phil Tagami is Not Backing Down

Further proof that Tagami is a sleazebag only interested in short-term gain for himself. His business interests may be perfectly legal, but they are unethical, immoral, and dangerous.

Re: “Thursday's Briefing: Alameda approves release of secret recording; Skinner wants DAs to request police misconduct records

We were Flints' regulars during the '80s until some undercooked chicken gave us food poisoning, after which we moved our BBQ loyalties to Doug's (also, sadly, now gone). Thirty years later I'm willing to put the bad memories behind me because a)Flints sauce was always the best and b)I won't be ordered any chicken. ;)

Re: “Thursday’s Briefing: Oakland Council Certifies Measure AA Despite Apparent Loss; Raiders to Play Elsewhere in 2019

Ernest, I know this is hard to understand, but taxes will be used to pay for health care and education. Perhaps some citizens will pay more in taxes, but those cost increases are likely to be offset by decreased out of pocket payments for crummy 'free market' health 'insurance' and tuition.
