Re: “Food Shift Presents: North Bay Fire Relief Benefit Dinner

Food Shift works collaboratively with communities, businesses and governments to develop long-term sustainable solutions to reduce food waste and build more resilient communities. We believe thousands of people can be employed in the recovery, redistribution and processing of excess food. By reducing food waste, we can feed the hungry, create jobs, combat climate change and cultivate more sustainable communities.

Re: “Imaginary Comforts, or The Story of the Ghost of the Dead Rabbit

Wonderful comic tour de force. I havent laughed this long and this hard at a play for a long time. A stellar cast, a wonderful set, and a thoughtful absurdist text: thank you Berkeley Rep, David Handler, and Tony Taccone.

There is not another weekly venue like this. Great Jazz and good food for only $5? Cheap drinks? There is nothing like this on either side of the bay.

Re: “Kidnapped Heiress Blues

I thought this was a great show and I hope it finds a home. Funny, smart and relevant, it's a fresh take on an old story. With 13 speaking-singing parts, it's appropriate for college productions, and despite its subject matter, widely accessible for young people.
