Re: “The Artists Loft

LOVE The Artists Loft! Fun and funky space. Friendly and personable staff. The gallery is very nice and centrally located in downtown Oakland near the courthouse. Very close to freeways. Opening nights draw a large crowd. Staff and artists are talkative, respectful, and very cool.

Re: “57th Street Gallery

I think this club closed down in early 2016. Haven't seen any activity in almost 2 years. Owner Floyd Pellom changed personal phone number for first time in more than 12 years and moved. He may have had another skirmish with the law.

Re: “Encyclical Gallery

A really thought provoking show! I really enjoyed seeing the diversity of interpretation of Pope Francis's Encyclical.

Re: “Richmond Art Center

For 50 years the Richmond Art Center has been exhibiting emerging artists, and following up on their progress and eventual success as artists and leaders in the art world.

Re: “Richmond Art Center

The RAC has become a welcoming center of creative endeavors for youth to seniors through art classes, opportunities to volunteer, and art exhibits of local and national importance. No snooty atmosphere here! All are invited to participate. Check out the annual Art of Living Black exhibit.

Re: “Phaneros

Events at this space are over the top amazing. Features plenty of safe parking, a large art showing area, lounge, and rooftop lounge. I highly recommend anything that happens at this location. Run by some incredible community minded folks who know what it takes to create amazing, welcoming, friendly spaces. Get ready to meet and talk to some of the Bay Area's most interesting people while you wander from amazing artwork to the rooftop smoking lounge. I'm looking forward to many more amazing events at Phaneros.

Re: “Sawtooth Building

I can't find another building that has more studios than the Sawtooth Building in Berkeley California or anywhere else.
