A Halal Hot Dog is an affront to a real hot dog. Hot dogs need pork.

Re: “Nobilis Is Worth the Voyage

I am so happy to hear that Nobilis is open again! I saw it shuttered when I went to the East Brothers' Lighthouse in September, and I've been waiting to hear that Nobilis had reopened ever since.

Re: “Pork Dumplings Get Soupy at Xiang Yuen Xiao Long Bao

I tried this place recently and really enjoyed the XLB. The soup/gravy inside the pork XLB was so flavorful! Tried the spicy wonton which tasted a little weird because it had a peanut sauce poured over it. I was also pleased with their Chicken noodle dish, their eggplant, and fried chicken wings. I will definitely return. The XLB are addicting. Thanks for steering me to this gem.

Re: “Pork Dumplings Get Soupy at Xiang Yuen Xiao Long Bao

Katherine, have you been to Bing's and Din Ding's in Fremont, and if so, how does these XLB compare? Fremont is about 15 minutes too far for the drive just for dumplings most nights, so i'd be nice to have an alternative.
