Re: “Soba Ichi Serves Impressive Handmade Soba Noodles — but the Setting Complicates Things

SOBA ICHI is not the first Japanese/Asian to have hand-pulled/prepared noodles. They go extinct because it is not efficient. There should be moratorium against bldg owners taking over the lease and resuming basically same business of the evicted tenant. In short while they will sell it to someone at a premium, as FuseBox owner probably got nothing when they got evicted. Ejnoy while you can. Yes, my bill came in over $100 for 3!

Re: “Los Carnalitos Brings a Taste of Mexico City to Hayward

It must be located south of Jackson St., as the stretch of Industrial Parkway northward is desolate ..

Re: “Feeling at Home at Xinia's Bakery

We live in Pinole and love Xinia's Bakery. We highly recommend this bakery. Located close to El Portal Drive crossing San Pablo Dam Road. Must experience!

Re: “With Cafe Réveille, the All-Day Cafe Arrives in Berkeley

I mis-read; I thought it meant '24-hour cafe'. Fourth Street is mighty lonely at 2am ..

Re: “Henry's Soars to New Heights Thanks to the Kronnerburger Team

Kronnenburger destroyed the most beautiful mural on Piedmont Ave., and now they have left a shell. Thanks, guys. Expensive food, marginal staff, and tiny burgers along with the loss of a community icon, the mural. Pfft.

Re: “Henry's Soars to New Heights Thanks to the Kronnerburger Team

The burger was already too small for the price and now they are even smaller? Amazing.
