Re: “Blackhawk Museum

For anyone who enjoys automotive history, or the art of design and beauty, Bkackhawk will not disappoint. Showing some of the most breathtaking examples of pre-war elegance, technological advancements, and legendary racing, this museum has taken the exhibition of automobiles to another level. Each car stand on it's own against an empty black background, and expertly lit to accentuate it's unique shape and design. This Museum truly blurs the line between engineering design, and fine art. This is a must see for any, but for some, it will really be a life changing event.

Re: “Transmission Gallery

Thank you, Sarah for the insightful review of my work. I would like to suggest that everyone in Oakland go and check out the Transmission Gallery. It is a unique space combined with a fabulous staff. Richard Downs

Re: “Studio 23

The Studio's actual grand opening is Sept 13th! However, we will be chillin' in the studio this Friday night. So feel free to stop by! We have quite a bit a work up from various bay area artists on display right now. Plus we have a huge ROBOT, "Friendly Lord Zondar". You can see some of the work on display here: https://www.facebook.com/Studio23Alameda

Re: “Trax Gallery

Consistently well vetted high quality exhibitions of the functional work of ceramc artist---with the occasional non-fucntional show as well. It is also a beautiful space with a very comfortable atmosphere. Often, other than acouple of bookstores, the only reason we go to Berkeley, and always well worth it.

Re: “Oakland Museum of California

I just rediscovered the Oakland Museum after going to Off The Grid. It was such a great time walking through my childhood memories of visiting OM that I became a member to have future memories there!

Re: “Roscoe Ceramic Gallery

It is so hip, edgy, urban. Very well curated. Derik is the best.

Re: “Michaan's Auctions

An interesting and educational place to work. The owners are fair, the clientle a quirky mix of characters and the merchandise a myriad of treasures of varying degree. Here one can has the opportunity to control their monthly work schedule and if ambitious and interested can work their way up into positions of more responsibility. Just being here can be a lesson in art & antiquities if one chooses to pay attention.
