Re: “The Alley

Rod Dibble died in December of 2017 There are new musicians and the place still is a blast! The Alley steak special top sirloin dinner for $16+ is not too shabby partnered with the $8 Martini

Re: “West Berkeley Fencing Club

I've been coming to this club for 4 years. It's a friendly atmosphere with good coaches focused on recreational beginner and intermediate fencers. Very clean and modern gym facilities with 5 electric scoring strips for Foil, Epee and Sabre fencing.

Re: “Sports Page

Great hang out! Drop in and experience a grown folks bar from 1p-6p...or so. The cocktails are average price for Oakland but the bartenders are friendly and attentive. Place a buck or two in the juke box and finger pop to the blues and old school tunes with the grown folks.

Re: “BART Headquarters

What does the public think about having a k-9 unit for the protection of riders and bart police. What if a breeder was willing to donate trained rotweillets in bomb squad, and drug general all around k-9 protection from a long tail rotweiler? Please respond to

Re: “Itani Ramen

Best ramen + izakaya spot in Uptown Oakland. Can't beat their $7 cocktails and fun appetizers. Located right above 19th St. BART.

Re: “Square One Yoga Collective

Beware of the "20-class pack" and other special deals at Square One Yoga! I bought this last year because I loved attending, and when my class was moved to a time I could no longer make, they refused to refund my money. It's been a year and I have asked Katy Crier and others nicely several times, but they happily kept my $200 which I really couldn't afford to lose. The instructors are great, but the administration is inflexible and uncaring. I wish I could recommend them - I loved my class - But they have unethical business practices.

Re: “Living Hope Neighborhood Church

I Love attending this Church and being apart of the greatness they do for the community. I've been to a hand full of churchs and out of all I love how Living Hope reaches out to the street. including all types of people and back grounds. I like how service begains, Pastor Dave makes Sunday announcement with the families and people all together then excuses the youth to there classes with a group prayer after announcements and worship.
Through Richmond CA. Living Hope Church I thank the Lord for all the greatness he delivers and continues to provide for Saterdays breakfast till Sundays service.
My children and I Love this Church.
Pastor Dave, Brother Jessie and Brother Andre speak nothing but the truth, read directily from the Bible that tells no lies.

Re: “Big Al's Smoke and Gifts

My father had ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) for 3 years His first symptoms were weakness in his hands and losing his balance which led to stumbling and falling. He never lost the ability to swallow or breathe. His one hand, then his legs, were affected first; then his arms. The Rilutek (riluzole) did very little to help him. The medical team did even less. His decline was rapid and devastating. The psychological support from the medical centre was non-existent and if it were not for the sensitive care and attention of his primary physician, he would have died . There has been little if any progress in finding a cure or reliable treatment. So this year his primary physician suggested we started him on Natural Herbal Gardens ALS Herbal mixture which eased his anxiety a bit,We ordered their ALS herbal treatment after reading alot of positive reviews, i am happy to report this ALS herbal treatment reversed my dad condition. His quality of life has greatly improved and every one of his symptoms including difficulty in walking and slurred speech are gone. Their official web site is ww w. naturalherbalgardens. c om He will be 74 soon and can now go about his daily activities

Re: “Neyborly Poet's Corner

Blech. This group violates the ADA inside and outside their events and brags about it. If you criticize them they'll hound you. They don't care about your neighborhood. They care about their 25 million in venture capital.
