Re: “Housing Crisis Averted in San Leandro?

After being in relationship with Wilson for seven years,he broke up with me, I did everything possible to bring him back but all was in vain, I wanted him back so much because of the love I have for him, I begged him with everything, I made promises but he refused. I explained my problem to someone online and she suggested that I should contact a spell caster that could help me cast a spell to bring him back but I am the type that don't believed in spell, I had no choice than to try it, I meant a spell caster called Dr AKHERE and I email him, and he told me there was no problem that everything will be okay before three days, that my ex will return to me before three days, he cast the spell and surprisingly in the second day, it was around 4pm. My ex called me, I was so surprised, I answered the call and all he said was that he was so sorry for everything that happened, that he wanted me to return to him, that he loves me so much. I was so happy and went to him, that was how we started living together happily again. Since then, I have made promise that anybody I know that have a relationship problem, I would be of help to such person by referring him or her to the only real and powerful spell caster who helped me with my own problem and who is different from all the fake ones out there. Anybody could need the help of the spell caster, his email:

Re: “Arreguin Sees the Light on the Density

Actually Aday, ANY construction will ease the issue taking pressure off of the existing units. Attempting your mandates will simply dissuade developers from doing any building which will make the issue worse, not better.

And for you Darin. The event that created Peoples Park was protests against the University building housing... Well, it SORT of houses some people now. Not well, but it does it... Sort of. So, yes, let's make it a national monument to short sighted stupidity and make sure NO housing is EVER built there.... Exactly the cause fed by your NIMBYism.

If you live within one mile of BART, Charlie Pine, you can walk your stupid ass to the station.

Re: “Arreguin Sees the Light on the Density

The light he sees is that he is up for re-election next year and he needs the votes. He and colleagues have been pounded for blocking new housing in Berkeley. Hes starting to realize that doesnt garner the vote.

If the motorcycle is still available, a loan could be had.

Could cover some of the expenses. Hope this helps

Re: “Arreguin Sees the Light on the Density

Just because were collecting the money, doesnt mean were using it for affordable housing. What projects are currently being built that are affordable? The SAHA project at Adeline and mlk has already been built, and has the SAHA eve looming on Sacramento near Alcatraz (right by the elder center). But those are hella small. How many affordable units are in that huge project on San Pablo and page, where the old vw dealership was? How many affordable projects at the scale of the 100% non profit housing on San Pablo across the Emeryville lanesplitters, which is Emeryville? Why do we let these developers off the hook with these contributions to a fund that may or may not be used? Why not mandate x% of units be affordable? Luxury units will not get us out of this crisis

The Borg have all but taken over, without tapping our memory banks.

The 2020 election should be about the last one ..

To say nothing of how the UCB Regents put GMO monopoly 'Sprouts,' mega grocery adjacent to the Gil Tract Farm 'Occupy The Farm,' destroying the natural habitat of deer, and wild turkey, among some natural life there.

Re: “Arreguin Sees the Light on the Density

He basically lied in a campaign promise to the community to preserve People's Park, and that lie extended to the UCB agriculture and community garden at Hearst, Oxford, Virginia, and Walnut.

Re: “Arreguin Sees the Light on the Density

The first paragraph has a glaring error. Scott Wiener's density housing bill was never vetoed by Jerry Brown. It didn't make it out of committee.

Re: “Arreguin Sees the Light on the Density

Charlie, while that particular BART development isn't ideal, it makes things a LITTLE better. Higher density development is what HAS to happen.

The cities ringing the bay can't continue to hold fast to three story construction.

Even without people pouring into the bay area (and they are) population growth alone demands more and denser rebuilding.

"Progressive" NIMBYs have to stop and do it now. They got theirs. Now others need theirs too.

Re: “Arreguin Sees the Light on the Density

The mantra of dense housing near transit hubs has created a disaster at Fruitvale BART. BART took over half a parking lot for a housing project. One wall is about 25 feet from the tracks. How would you like to live in one of those units? Meanwhile, people who live a mile away from BART now have less parking if they drive to the station, infrequent AC Transit bus service to the station, and guess what, most people do not ride a bike to work.

Re: “Lawsuit Alleges Ankle Monitoring Practices Are Akin to Extortion

This "civil rights" organization is super creepy - they tried to dox all of the home addresses and phone numbers of case managers (mostly young women) to the public during this court case. Many of these clients are convicted rapists and violent stalkers. As an LCA employee and a rape survivor, I'm disgusted at the dangerous behavior from this law firm that nearly put our private information out to our clients.
