No one has flogged the execrable Senator Rick Santorum's reelection campaign more than the editors at the National Review, so it's a tumbler full of schadenfreude, with a twist of payback, to see their golden boy repudiated by the good people of Pennsylvania. Kate O'Beirne: Based on exit polls, it appears that Bob Casey, Jr. (can't bring myself to say Senator-elect) carried overall Catholic vote (32 percent of voters) by 57-42.
Kathryn Jean Lopez: Shame on Pennsylvania. With Mark Dayton retiring and Lincoln Chafee defeated there was an opening for the Most Clueless Senator and Pennsylvania had to fill it? What a depressingly bad choice.
