400 Profs Protest Guv's Labor Studies Veto

Alert readers will recall that Governor Schwarzenegger maliciously cut $5.4 million from the University of California's labor studies program, 'cause he's, you know, a dick. Now, four hundred professors and university staff have sent him a strongly-worded letter. According to the L.A. Times, the signatories said the veto "violates the basic principle of the freedom to speak out and conduct research even on controversial topics." That'll learn 'im!
