Horror, Suspense/Thriller
30 Days of Night probably has the coolest premise for a vampire movie -- or graphic novel, which it's based on -- ever. Like really: Ever. When the sun sets for the titular thirty days on Barrow, Alaska, the northernmost town in the US, a pack of vampires arrives and turns the hardy citizens into their own personal buffet. These aren't the vamps we've grown accustomed to over the years, either; there are no Draculas, Lestats, or Angels here. These undead are monsters through and through, and could give two shits about philosophical moping. Prepare to have a blood-soaked good time, with more than a few gore-tastic scenes worthy of raucous applause.
