Rated PG-13 · 102 minutes · 2009

Watchable but limited youth-market comedy makes predictable feel-good use of the story of a 37-year-old loser named Mike (Matthew Perry) who wakes up one day in his seventeen-year-old body (played by teen idol Zac Efron), and goes back to high school in 2009 as “Mark.” Efron’s adolescent female fans may be perplexed by the scenes in which Mark/Mike fends off the sexual advances of his own daughter (Michelle Trachtenberg) and then puts the moves on his “wife” (Leslie Mann). Directed in typical TV sitcom style by former actor Burr Steers from a screenplay by Jason Filardi. With Thomas Lennon hamming furiously as the millionaire fanboy best friend (95 min.).
