As a teenybop, I worked at a fast-food restaurant. One day I cut my finger before reporting to work, so I stuck a Band-Aid on the wound. I punched in around 11:00 a.m. to face a busy lunch hour. During the rush, I assembled and wrapped at least a couple hundred sandwiches without a hitch. As I wiped down the counter, pleased with myself, I suddenly realized that the Band-Aid was missing. And nowhere to be found.
