.Best Wine Shop: Okay, it’s not really a shop

Andronico's Market

So close to Napa, so far from the bank. The trouble with wine is that everything Robert Parker writes about is too expensive and, anyway, it’s already sold out by the time you get to the store. Sure, it’s counterintuitive, but stop whining and head over to your neighborhood Andronico’s. With far more wine on its shelves than the average wine shop, arty signs that direct buyers to the wine-style of their choice, and cool little shelf tags to tell you what they’re pimping today at $4 or more off, Andronico’s is the place to score great wine at an even better price. If you have any questions, just ask: Andronico’s wine buyers are happy to offer their opinions. Last time we asked, the buyer hustled us toward a $5 bottle of wine that was so good we came back and bought a case.
