Bistro Liaison

This bistro at the tip of the Gourmet Ghetto hosts great lunches and
fancy dinners but their specialité, in our humble
opinion, is the weekend brunch. Yes, you’ll pay more than most other
brunches (most dishes are $10-$24 depending on if you get a lunchy or a
brunchy). And yes, you may need a translator to figure out what you’re
ordering. But the extensive menu at Liaison and the belly gratitude you
feel at the end of the meal are almost priceless. Options include eggs,
croques, salads, and even bouillabaise, if you feel like the
lunch part of brunch. One of the more intricate dishes is the Bistro
Plat: scrambled eggs, smoked bacon, chicken-apple sausage, French
toast, and pommes Lyonnaises. It’s a mouthful in more ways than
one.
