Bo’s is barbecue the way only a tony NorCal suburb could do it: live jazz, free-range Fulton Valley chicken, a gazillion bottled beers to choose from, a wine list that goes far beyond “pink” or “white,” and baguettes by Acme. But more important than the beef brisket being Niman Ranch (which it is) is the fact that it’s the bomb. So are the links, and more than one potato-salad hater has been caught in the act of being won over by Bo’s version. The experience is a bit high-falutin’, true, but who says barbecue has to be lowbrow? And Bo himself is on deck most days and nights, pouring wine and kissing babies like he was running for city council. (We’d vote for him.)
