The Express is launching a forum on the Oakland mayor’s race starting today on Electionland.com. Electionland is a nonpartisan, social media web site sponsored by Rock the Vote, where citizens can ask and answer questions about anything election-related. Electionland is designed to inform the voting public about the things they care about, from finding polling places and understanding issues to interacting directly with candidates.
Candidates Rebecca Kaplan, Jean Quan, Joe Tuman, Greg Harland, Marcie Hodge, and LL Young are scheduled to participate. Register using your Facebook profile or sign up for an account and ask your question by Friday, October 15.
