OPD Chief On His Way Out?

The Trib reports that Wayne Tucker, the Oakland Police Chief, has taken an indefinite leave to take care of his sick wife. Assistant Chief Howard Jordan has taken over in his stead. Tucker has run the Police Department since 2005, taking on the task of combatting a rising homicide rate and a serious shortage of officers.
