Lenore Anderson, who served as Ron Dellums’ policy aide on crime and public safety, has jumped over to San Francisco District Attorney Kamala Harris’ office. The Trib‘s story is chock-full of accolades for Anderson, which we can only echo, at least on a personal basis. We’ve been friends with Lenore Anderson for 13 years, going back to our youthful days as crazy Berkeley lefties, and she’s every bit as smart and energetic as her fans say she is. But is she really going to go be a prosecutor? That would indeed be a sharp break from her past. In any case, now we can get back to the business of bitching about Dellums’ attitude toward crime without feeling complicated!
