UC Berkeley Cares About Your Sperm

As if West Oakland residents didn't have enough to worry about, what with the cancer and all (see below), now their sperm could be ghastly, mutated wormy things. Actually, that goes for all of us. According to a new report by Cal's School of Public Health, men who don't get enough of the nutrient folate in their diets have a higher incidence of chromosomal abnormalities in their sperm. Folate is most commonly found in liver, leafy green vegetables, and citrus fruits. So let's recap, West Oakland: eat lots of oranges, and try not to breathe.
