Mark DeSaulnier Rolling Over for Auto Dealers?

Nice piece in today's Tri-Valley Herald about Assemblyman Mark DeSaulnier, who's angered consumer groups by carrying a bill that would raise the "document fees" auto dealers can charge you buy your car. Car dealer lobbyists claim it's only fair compensation for the increasingly complicated documents required by the state, while consumer attorney Mark Anderson says it's a $41 million annual gift to a powerful Sacto lobby.
