Emeryville: home to traffic jams, biotech companies, Pixar, and IKEA (not to mention the Express). Admittedly, not exactly the sexiest city in the East Bay. But times are changing. Some chap took the time to synthesize some fancy HTML coding to create a wicked-cool MySpace page devoted to the city by the Bay. Among the interests of Emeryville are the bands Poor Bailey and Audrye Sessions, and the movie Ratatouille. (We have a feeling the profile is maintained by one Scott of Poor Bailey fame). Nonetheless, the self-proclaimed “MySpace headquarters for Emeryville” elicits some genuine love for the city, as evidenced in its comments section: “Emeryville has changed so much since I moved out in 2000 … thank god! I swear there was no food besides the Public Parket place,” wrote Jamie. “Hey Emeryville, you have the best food court EVER!” gushed the band LoveLikeFire. And the incoherent: “Emeryville go’S so hard!!! yee. love ya Emeryville lol.”
