Valleywag, the South Bay cousin of New York's Gawker, brings us the lowdown on the pranky history of Berkeley J-School dean candidate and former Business 2.0 editor Josh Quittner. Check out the excellent timeline chronicling Quittner's Web 1.0 adventures, including the time he somehow managed to register the domain name mcdonalds.com and his online slapfest with Suck that prompted a digital flipping of the bird. Sure, after that he went on to Time magazine and wrote a whole bunch of books, but dang. Now we're sort of nostalgic for 1995.
