Petty Crimes in Un-Pleasant Hill

All is not pleasant in Pleasant Hill. Among the crimes logged in the city's police blotter from the third week of October: an iPod holder stolen from a car (they run what, $20?), and the intentional denting of a vehicle-by a pumpkin. Then there's the report of a school kid being verbally threatened by a fellow student, followed by a separate report of a fight at that school a few hours later. Coincidence? Or an important real world lesson for one woeful black-eyed kid? Finally, seems there is some crime karma in PH - a car mowed down a shoplifter attempting to flee from security guards. Ouch. Poor guy was probably just trying to steal a new iPod holder...
