Every Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., this Thai Buddhist temple serves brunch to the public. You'll find steam-table sautéed dishes and prepared spring rolls, but also made-to-order papaya salads, fried chicken with sticky rice, and a group of warm, funny temple members dishing out the food. Don't pass up foods you can't find in restaurants, such as the lemongrass and chile-flecked sausage and the amazing coconut-milk custard pancakes. A little-known but phenomenal Berkeley institution.
