Three Things: Backstage with Seth Meyers

Saturday Night Live head writer Seth Meyers graces Zellerbach Hall next week as part of Cal Performance's Strictly Speaking series. He's promised to discuss life onstage at the hugely popular sketch comedy show, but we wanted to hear about things he does to pass the time when the camera's not rolling. Meyers kindly regaled us with a few backstage antics:

1. Throwing food out the window ("which mercifully didn't kill somebody")

2. Stalking Maya Rudolph (with "a cardboard face on the end of a stick")

3. Fielding calls from Vasquez-Gomez-Vasquez (aka Horatio Sanz)
