Located in the Berkeley Adult School's hangar-like and mostly empty multipurpose room, this inspiring little outfit paired with a non-profit serves bargain-price breakfasts and lunches along with soup, pizza, and a wide variety of baked goods — made by ex-prison inmates, ex-drug addicts, the formerly homeless, and others who once found themselves down and out. You can't beat the thick-crusted personal pizza, a complete meal topped with meat and/or pickled red onion and hefty goat-cheese chunks. And the tasty baked goods span a wide gamut from stollen to Anzac cookies to rye bread.
