Tasty Mead at the Albany Taproom

Join the Mead Kitchen and the Albany Taproom for an evening of Tasty Mead! Mead, also known as "honey-wine," is world's oldest form of alcoholic beverage. Produced by the fermentation of honey, flavored with a variety of fruits and spices, and lightly carbonated the Mead Kitchen's mead is a light, dry, delicious drink unlike anything you have ever had before.

The Mead Kitchen is the East Bay's first and only commercial meadery. Production is based out of Urbano Cellars in West Berkeley and all of their ingredients are sourced locally. The Mead Kitchen currently offers three flavors of mead: Cherry, Orange-Ginger and Hopped, and all will be on tap at this event, so there will be something for every palate.

BTW, the Mead Kitchen's mead is all naturally Gluten-Free and will be available soon throughout the Bay Area.
