You can follow the smoke signals to Taqueria Durango: The steel-drum barbecue rig out front sends thick clouds over the block. Obviously, the taqueria’s specialty is barbecued chicken and ribs. Get the chicken, rubbed in herbs and roasted until the skin crisps — but as part of an entire platter. Eaten separately, the beans, rice, tortillas, tartly dressed cactus salad, and chicken don’t impress. Combined, they make quite a meal.
