From the outside, Tanjia looks like an unassuming, windowless storefront, but youll step through the door into a Moroccan tent with woven carpets, low tables, and room for belly dancing. The five-course fixed-price meal, theatrically ritualistic, starts with hand-washing and ends with mint tea poured from on high. Whats in between is beautifully cooked and subtly spiced the tagines and couscous shine. One warning: When the room fills up, the already leisurely pace slows down.
