"Sandwooches" such as the BLT Boalt and spinach-hummus-avocado-asiago Haas are bright, fresh, and tasty made-to-order options for the waffle-avoidant, as are salads, house-made Middle Eastern pastries, and less-common café beverages including cardamom-spiked Turkish coffee, chicory-spiked café au lait, and cane sugar-sweetened Mexican Coke. But it’s with owner Hoda Cox's predesigned woofles (such as the cinnamon-pecan Cinny Bun and the feta-zaatar Arabian Nights) and custom mix-ins — all baked to order and rhapsodically fluffy — that the dream really begins.
