Screenagers Film Festival

When: Sat., Feb. 2, 3 p.m. 2013
Price: $5.50
Teenagers awkwardly dealing with the angst and beauty of growing up are the subject of countless nostalgia-based films, from Grease to Heathers to Rushmore. But how would teenagers themselves portray their lives on screen? Find out on Saturday, Feb. 2, when BAM/PFA (2575 Bancroft Way, Berkeley) hosts the fifteenth-annual Screenagers Film Festival. Featuring films made by Bay Area high schoolers and curated by Berkeley High students working under a special curatorial internship with the museum, Screenagers invites viewers to “see through the eyes of a teenager in the 21st century.” 3 p.m., $5.50. 510-642-1412 or
