There’s a row of deep-fat fryers at S&S and not much else. For more than a decade, S&S has been frying up crispy, tender, cornmeal-crusted seafood. The fried oysters are the best in town, and the buffalo, snapper, and prawns come close. A regular-size order (with fries or salad) is enough for a hungry grown man, and the large orders serve two. For a smaller appetite, try one of the sandwiches, such as the oysterburger or catburger (catfish, that is).
