Affordable Italian food in a city thats hungry for more than Mickey Ds. Chef-owner Pedro Canjura, late of Il Fornaio, bakes a top-notch breadbasket and rolls his own pasta. Due Roses menu travels the length of the boot, from Friuli to the sunny south, and his salads, wafer-thin pizzas, and pasta dishes are both creative and enjoyable (more than the heartier entrées). Dont eat so much bread that you skip out on Canjuras zabaglione and tiramisu.
