"Of CAVES and Curiosity"

When: Mon., March 4, 7:30-9 p.m. 2013
Price: free

The Art, Technology, and Culture Colloquium speaker series at UC Berkeley, dedicated to challenging conventional wisdom, features artists, writers, curators, and scholars who can offer a critical perspective on the current state of technology and culture and, in so doing, help us better imagine the future. On Monday, March 4, join artist Meredith Tromble in conversation with geobiologist Dawn Summer (one of the lucky few to have worked on the Curiosity Mars mission) as they discuss CAVES, a virtual-reality facility at UC Davis used by researchers to interact with their data in three dimensions. Welcome to the future. 7:30-9 p.m., free. ATC.Berkeley.edu
