Price: free
Diversify your home-grown meals by swapping your own backyard produce for that of others. Food justice collective Phat Beets Produce hosts crop swaps the first Saturday of every month - including Saturday, April 2 - at their Farmers Market (970 Grace Ave., Oakland). Participants are urged to bring home-grown fruits, vegetables, plants, cuttings, or cultures to swap or barter. 10 a.m., free (RSVP to; outline what you'll bring).
