One of the many environmental disasters facing the world is the global water crisis. If you don’t know much about the particulars, but are thirsting to know more (so to speak), a panel on Saturday at 10 Evans Hall on the UC Berkeley campus will feature top-notch experts in the field — including Dr. Steven Chu, former US Secretary of Energy, and two other Nobel Laureates — to talk about our water sources, why they’re in peril, and what we can do to help. (Also, check out our recent two-part series, “Tunnel Vision
,” about the challenges facing the California Delta and its rivers. This pairs nicely with a viewing of Chinatown.) And fear not: Refreshments will be served.
