Gold Spike at Honor Bar

Celery, mustard, lemon — they'd make a decent salad, if they didn't also make the East Bay's best new cocktail. (Don't worry, there's booze in there too — namely, tequila and Montenegro amaro, plus agave and ginger ale). Complex, refreshing, ever-so-slightly fizzy, and not too sweet, this is a cocktail tailor-made to be enjoyed on a warm summer evening, preferably with one of the criminally underrated bar/restaurant's saltiest, fattiest, dishes (try the salted cod brandade) — after all, you're already getting your greens in.
