.Most Diverse Food Court

Emerybay Public Market

Maybe you’re in the mood for a taco but your friend feels like Thai food and your beau is demanding a plate of jerk chicken. With one easy trip to the Emerybay Public Market’s international food court you can summarily fill everyone’s plates and fulfill their palates with a ridiculously diverse offering of foods from across the globe by nearly two dozen vendors. You might stop by Sweis Gyros & Pitas for a delicious sampling of Greek salad, pita bread, and superbly spiced sliced lamb, or treat your taste buds to some sautéed spinach and spicy chicken curry at Pamir Afghan Cuisine. While it’s admittedly far from world-class dining (some of the sushi and salad bar offerings are subpar at best), this food court definitely has the worldwide element going for it. It’s like taking a trip around the world — with fewer airplane rides and more cafeteria trays.
