Billing itself as “the ultimate steak experience,” Forbes Mill specializes in Certified Angus Prime and American Kobe steaks — luxuriously marbled, perfectly cooked, and priced as a once-a-decade splurge. The American steakhouse has never been the place to experiment with food trends, and Kobe beef is as close to the culinary forefront is the chef gets (but the Caesar salad, prawn cocktail, and creamed spinach are great). The room itself is a study in casual luxury, all golden light and polished wood, with waiters trained in classic good service.
