When Fenestra Winery was founded in the Seventies it was one of the first boutique wineries in the Livermore Valley. Today it produces about 7,500 cases a year. Fenestra bottles wine primarily from grapes grown in the valley. In addition to the standard varietals, the winery recently began making wines from Portuguese and Spanish varieties as well. All together it produces Semillon, Chardonnay, Semonnay (Sem-Chard), Viognier, White Riesling, Dry Rosé, a Rhône Blend called True Red, Zinfandel, Merlot, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, Petite Sirah, Port, Syrah and Mourvedre. On any given day in the tasting room they have 20 wines available for sampling.
