San Francisco's FACT/SF doesn't push the envelope. That's because the contemporary dance company left the envelope in the dust a long time ago. Led by choreographer Charles Slender, a graduate of UC Berkeley's Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies department, FACT/SF follows its muse to ever more dynamic, intriguing, and sometimes peculiar places, creating new movement as it goes. Catch up on the creative evolution during Home Season 3.0 at The Garage (975 Howard St., San Francisco) on Friday through Sunday, Apr. 8-10, and Wednesday-Friday, Apr. 13-15. Spanning three years of work, the diverse program corrals the quirky Pretonically Oriented v.1, Slender's solos to Bach's partita for solo violin, a dance-world satire, a world premiere set to Strauss' "Blue Danube," and an excerpt from the mesmerizing Consumption Series, with music by Frog Pocket and Arvo Pärt, into one mesmerizing show. 8 p.m., $20. 800-838-3006 or FactSF.org.
