Ed Brubaker

When: Mon., July 1, 6:30-7:30 p.m. 2013
Price: free
For those with an interest in comic books, Ed Brubaker might be somewhat of a superhero. The comic artist has written for big-name superhero comics including Batman, Daredevil, Catwoman, and more; he’s won four Eisner Awards; and he’s also the man responsible for killing off Captain America. Brubaker will be at the Berkeley Public Library’s Central Branch (2090 Kittredge St., Berkeley) this Monday to discuss his illustrious career in superhero comics and his return to his noir roots with the new crime horror tale Fatale. Part of the ongoing Berkeley Comic Arts Festival.
