Since 1990, brothers Albert and George Masarweh have operated their breakfast-and-lunch cafe like a chatty commissary for nearby architects and computer geeks. Go for breakfast, when the easygoing diner fare seems particularly unselfconscious. The best dishes have unexpected flavors — like the tarragon scramble, which gets a kick from tangy cheddar, or the omelet-like potato pancake (weekends only), a brown beauty studded with fresh poblanos.
