With its blazing white walls, ceiling grid of screw-in fluorescents, and never-ending throngs enduring the plastic rope line, this Chinatown diner has the charm of a DMV. But it's fast and supercheap, with scores of lunch- and tea-time bargains that leave you plenty of cash for the humongous bubble teas. Some of the Hong Kong short-order classics are good, some not. But with daytime prices well under five bucks a dish, you can afford a little exploration.
