March the Hayward shoreline and #StandupforScience! In solidarity with the national March for Science and Earth Day, join us for a 1.5-mile walk and group aerial photo on the Bay Trail, which is projected to be underwater by 2050. 10:30: we march. 11:00: aerial photo. Please register online at www.haywardbooktoaction.org so we know how many people to expect. Parking along Breakwater or in the lots at Breakwater & Whitesell (limited shuttle service for those who need it). Bring water bottles, sunscreen, & brain hats, and dress as your favorite scientist! This is a family-friendly, peaceful, non-partisan, zero-waste event.
