Camino looks a lot like heaven to socially and environmentally conscious epicures, while annoying those just looking for roasted chicken and a Coke. That’s okay with Chez Panisse alum Russell Moore, whose mission is to use his longtime local farm connections to bring diners topnotch produce, seafood, meat, poultry, and grains in wholesome, hearty dishes you won’t soon forget. Camino’s menu changes daily, with the consistent themes being seasonal high-end ingredients and artful, unique preparations. The eighty-seat room manages to be intimate, thanks to the wood-burning oven and cooking fireplace dominating the cavernous interior.
