Under its current owners, a husband-and-wife team from Valparaiso, the cafe specializes in Chilean comfort food. Nosh on empanadas (savory turnovers), an addictive snack called choripapa (french fries and chorizo), and glasses of Chilean red. Among the more substantial entrées is pastel de choclo, a sort of baked tamale with sweet caramelized onions, beef, chicken, and raisins.
