Looking for the motivation to vote? To exercise? To meet new people? Oakland's Matthew Szymankowski has plenty to go around.

Say hi to Szymankowski in Temescal, between the 48th and 51st block of Telegraph Avenue, where he sets up his stationary bike in the evenings and rides to remind people to vote in tomorrow's election.

Szymankowski pedals alongside two paintings of President Obama, who will get his vote on Tuesday, but said his statement is about keeping the election top-of-mind rather than promoting one party or candidate. He's also using the ride as a way to meet neighbors and get in a work out.

"It is truly working on all levels," Szymankowski said. "In all, I will have peddled the equivalent of over 400 miles."

Szymankowski will be biking in front of Pizzaiolo on election night.
